Terms of Service

1. The service

CV Wise lets you build a PDF resume with no account required. You can preview it with a watermark for free; downloading the final file without a watermark is unlocked after a single payment per resume.

2. Price and payment

The price is shown in your country's currency before any charge, based on the country detected from your connection. In Brazil, payment can be made through Mercado Pago (Pix or credit card), Stripe or PayPal; everywhere else, by Stripe (card, Apple Pay or Google Pay) or PayPal (card or PayPal balance). When the chosen provider does not accept your local currency, the same amount is charged in US dollars, and this is shown before you pay. We never store your card details.

3. What you get

Once payment is confirmed, you get access to an A4 PDF with selectable text, in the template and accent color you chose, with no watermark, which you can download and email as many times as you like. To protect what was paid for, a paid resume can no longer be edited; for changes, create a new resume.

The online page (the /@username address) is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. When you cancel, the page stays online until the end of the period already paid and no further charges are made.

4. Ownership of your content

The content you type — your name, your experience, your photo — is yours. We claim no rights over it; we only use it to generate the file you requested.

5. Acceptable use

This service is for creating resumes for real people. It may not be used to generate fraudulent documents, nor to submit illegal, offensive content or content that infringes third-party rights.

6. Availability

We do our best to keep the site running at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance or failures of external providers (Mercado Pago, Stripe, PayPal, email services) may cause temporary downtime.

7. Limitation of liability

We are not responsible for third-party hiring decisions based on the generated resume, nor for typos or content errors you entered yourself. Always review the PDF before sending it.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.

9. Monthly plans and recurring billing

The online page and the Unlimited plan are monthly subscriptions, charged in your country's currency and renewed automatically every month through Mercado Pago, Stripe or PayPal until you cancel.

Plans can be paid monthly or yearly. With yearly billing, the 12 months come with a 25% discount, are charged at once and renew automatically every year.

The Unlimited plan lets you create and download PDF and Word resumes with no limit on quantity while it is paid up (there is only a technical daily limit against automated use) and includes the online page. Resumes created during the plan remain available for download afterwards.

If a monthly charge is declined, the plan is locked immediately and an unpaid invoice is emailed to you and shown in your dashboard. The plan works again as soon as the invoice is paid; from that payment on, automatic monthly billing restarts.

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard: the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, no further charges are made and unpaid invoices are cancelled.
